roche · Holly Springs
Job description
About the role
Roche's Pharma Technical Manufacturing (PTM) is building a new manufacturing site in Holly Springs, North Carolina, focused on large-volume, low-cost drug product manufacturing for cardiovascular, renal and metabolism (CVRM) therapies. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will first ramp up the warehouse before startup, then lead a team of warehouse operators running a high-volume GMP warehouse after go-live. The role is full time, on site at the Holly Springs facility and/or temporary project offices.
Key responsibilities
- Ramp up warehouse equipment, processes and systems in line with cGMP requirements, acting as business process expert for SAP/eWM, the ASRS and other inventory systems, including defining specs, testing, writing procedures and training the team.
- Provide user input for the build and test phases of eWM implementation and act as SAP/eWM superuser for the warehouse.
- Work with Quality, Manufacturing, Production Scheduling, Engineering and Maintenance to complete the project and run efficient warehouse operations.
- Partner with ASRS and WCS vendors during commissioning to fix logic errors and optimise throughput before go-live.
- Recruit, interview and onboard the foundation team of warehouse operators, establishing a "Right First Time" culture.
- After go-live, receive raw materials, stage them for production and ship finished drug products.
- Maintain near-100% inventory accuracy through cycle counting and real-time monitoring in SAP/eWM.
- Lead investigations into warehouse deviations and environmental excursions, acting as SME during FDA/EMA audits.
- Track KPIs such as dock-to-stock time, order fulfillment rates and safety incident rates, and coordinate preventative maintenance of automated systems.
- Ensure staff follow OSHA standards and safety protocols, especially for automated equipment and high-density storage.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration, or an Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant GMP warehouse experience.
- At least 2 years of direct supervisory experience or demonstrated lead experience in a high-volume setting.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, including FDA, EMA and DEA requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to manage complex projects.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SAP/eWM or similar warehouse management software.
- Preferred: APICS (CPIM) certification and experience with automated warehouse systems.
What we offer
- Expected salary range of $82,600 - $153,400, depending on experience, qualifications and location; actual pay set by the company.
- A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
- Relocation benefits are provided.
