About the role

The Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) Storeroom Manager oversees the MRO storeroom, ensuring efficient inventory control, procurement, and distribution of materials needed for maintenance and operational activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular audits, and manage timely replenishment.
• Collaborate with sourcing teams to negotiate contracts, secure pricing, and monitor supplier performance.
• Ensure storeroom operations comply with safety regulations and handle hazardous materials safely.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate storeroom support personnel.
• Analyze usage data, forecast inventory needs, and prepare status reports.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and evaluate new technologies to boost efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 5 years of inventory management experience, preferably in an MRO environment.
• Experience in maintenance and operations within a chemical manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with process equipment, piping, valves, and instrumentation.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and team‑leadership abilities.
