Supply Officer – Contract (Aircraft Spare Parts)

About the role

Satair, a global Airbus subsidiary, is seeking a Supply Officer to support aircraft spare‑parts procurement in the Atlanta area. This contract role involves managing purchase orders, supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of critical components to meet internal and external demand.

Key responsibilities

• Create and release purchase orders promptly according to demand forecasts.
• Track supplier confirmations, shipment dates and goods in transit to guarantee on‑time order fulfillment.
• Validate purchase‑order data (price, quantity, certificates) to avoid downstream issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, participating in business reviews when needed.
• Update SAP and other information tools with all relevant changes and resolve supplier discrepancies or quality concerns.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years experience in supply management or purchasing operations.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 lb, stand for long periods, and perform basic manual tasks.
• U.S. Person status under ITAR (U.S. citizen, green‑card holder, or similar).
