Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

Moog is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to develop, implement, control, and optimize procurement and planning processes. The role supports the company’s business plan and ensures material availability for production.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze inventory usage and demand to optimize stock levels, reorder points, and material availability.
• Manage purchasing activities for materials, components, and services while meeting cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Maintain and review bills of material, item revisions, and ERP data to support accurate planning and production.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Production, and Operations to align material requirements with business needs.
• Monitor supplier performance, negotiate pricing and terms, resolve supply issues, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum three years of supply chain procurement experience.
• Experience in purchasing, planning, and inventory control.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MPS/ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Ability to read and understand bills of materials.
• Competent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
