Supply Chain Planner II – Geismar, LA

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planner II to join BASF’s Intermediates team in Geismar, LA. The role focuses on inventory and supply planning for domestic production, tolling, and imports within the Amines portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional supply chain optimization and S&OP initiatives for the Amines product line.
• Develop and execute production and purchase plans to meet customer service goals, inventory targets, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Global and Regional Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Procurement.
• Identify and drive SCM projects targeting specific improvement opportunities.
• Support cross‑functional supply chain functions and foster strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or related functions (preferred).
• Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of modern supply chain management concepts.

Required skills

• High proficiency in SAP or a comparable ERP system.
