Terminal Operator – Hazardous & Non‑Hazardous Chemicals

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Terminal Operator to safely load and unload liquid products, both hazardous and non‑hazardous, at our terminal facilities. The role involves handling tank cars, trucks, shore tanks, ISO containers, totes, ships and barges while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Align and set‑up tanks, pumps and pipelines for product transfer to and from ships, barges, railcars, pipelines and trucks.
• Load and unload liquids, gauge and sample tanks to verify product specifications.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all company, regulatory and customer procedures.
• Complete operational documentation accurately and efficiently.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts in an outdoor environment.
• Ability to climb stairs, work at heights, use hand tools and lift up to 50 lb.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a TWIC certification.
• Pass mandatory drug screen and background check.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality and self‑motivation.
