About the role

The Supply Chain Management Specialist III will act as a subject‑matter expert, delivering high‑impact market intelligence and risk analysis for Enbridge’s global projects. Working in a hybrid setting from Houston, the role supports category managers by translating macro‑economic, tariff, and geopolitical trends into actionable procurement strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor global commodity markets, supply‑demand fundamentals and cost drivers for key categories.
• Track competing projects (pipeline, LNG, renewable energy, data centers) that could affect resource allocation.
• Develop forward‑looking market outlooks, scenario‑based analyses and executive‑ready dashboards.
• Track global tariff regimes, trade agreements and sanctions; assess financial and operational impacts on sourcing.
• Advise on duty mitigation strategies such as tariff engineering, country‑of‑origin shifts and supplier diversification.
• Analyze geopolitical developments and create risk scenarios to stress‑test supply chains.
• Partner with category managers to design dual‑sourcing, regional diversification and inventory optimization plans.
• Maintain structured monitoring systems for markets, tariffs and geopolitical risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain, Business, Political Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in market intelligence, trade policy analysis or supply‑chain risk assessment.
• Proven ability to synthesize macro‑economic and supplier‑level data into strategic recommendations.
• Strong communication skills to influence senior leadership without direct authority.
