Supplier Integration Manager – SPARC Assembly

About the role

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Supplier Integration Manager to lead supply chain activities for the SPARC Assembly team. The role will be embedded within project and engineering groups, focusing on capital equipment, tooling, consumables, and services. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies that support the company’s fusion energy mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise purchasing processes, including purchase order approvals and contract management for parts, sub‑assemblies, equipment and services.
• Lead strategic sourcing and category initiatives to identify best‑value suppliers and mitigate risk.
• Drive sourcing projects, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and negotiate contracts and statements of work.
• Ensure compliance with supply‑chain policies, intellectual‑property rules and export regulations.
• Provide regular updates to internal customers and maintain process adherence for strategic sourcing and purchase‑order management.
• Coordinate planning and scheduling with supply‑planning teams in a matrixed organisation.
• Report project status, risks and issues to supply‑chain and systems leadership, acting as an escalation point.
• Monitor supplier performance throughout contract execution and support cost‑saving, lead‑time and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate on procurement or commodity strategies and conduct supplier business reviews as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, tactical procurement and supplier management.
• Strong understanding of contract negotiation, export compliance and procurement policies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment.
