Supervisor - Clinical Trials Coordinator - Oncology

About the role

This position coordinates clinical trial and administrative activities for oncology research, supervising staff and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role also acts as project manager for assigned trials.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee regulatory, administrative, and participant processes for assigned oncology clinical trials.
• Develop and maintain trial documentation, grant proposals, and budget plans.
• Supervise, train, and develop research and support staff within the department.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and report any irregularities.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience conducting research and clinical trials (or 4 years with a bachelor’s degree).
• 5 years of formal supervisory experience in clinical research preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.

Required skills

• Certification accredited by ACRP or SOCRA.
• Strong knowledge of protocol management, grant and budget development.
• Proficiency with computers, software, web‑based applications, and patient database management.
• Effective verbal and written communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
