Hematologic Malignancies & Cell Therapy Physician (Multiple Myeloma)

About the role

Ochsner Health’s MD Anderson Cancer Institute is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician to lead its Hematologic Malignancies and Cell Therapy program with a focus on Multiple Myeloma. The role combines direct patient care, advanced cellular therapies, and academic pursuits within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical management for patients with myeloid neoplasms, plasma cell disorders, and those undergoing stem cell transplantation.
• Deliver CAR T‑cell therapy using commercially licensed products and active clinical trials.
• Participate in and develop clinical research studies, contributing to the institution’s investigational portfolio.
• Teach and mentor fellows and residents, fostering the next generation of oncology specialists.

Required profile

• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology.
• Experience with myeloid neoplasms, plasma cell disorders, stem cell transplantation, and cellular therapy.
• Interest in academic work with protected time for research and teaching.
• Leadership potential within a high‑volume BMT section.
