Supervision Associate Analyst

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco is seeking a Supervision Associate Analyst to support its Supervision group. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop a solid foundation in banking supervision, regulation, and data analysis while working with a diverse portfolio of financial institutions across the Twelfth District.

Key responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of banking industry practices, supervision frameworks, and regulatory processes.
• Source, organize, and aggregate data to perform analyses under the guidance of senior staff.
• Participate in team projects and support documentation processes.
• Assist examination teams overseeing state member banks, foreign banking organizations, trust departments, and service providers.
• Travel up to 40% to conduct on‑site reviews and inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Willingness to commit to a three‑to‑five‑year Examiner Commission program.
• Strong collaboration, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with introductory business office software.
