Superintendent – Mission-Critical & Commercial Construction

About the role

Lead daily field operations on large, mission‑critical construction projects as the on‑site superintendent. You will keep every trade working safely, productively and on schedule, serving as the main field contact for the owner’s team.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the work of multiple trade crews, including electrical, mechanical, low‑voltage, plumbing and concrete teams.
• Plan field layout and coordinate labor, materials, tools and equipment for each phase.
• Maintain a zero‑incident jobsite by monitoring conditions and adhering to owner security and access rules.
• Distribute design updates, RFIs and submittal decisions to relevant crews.
• Book and oversee required inspections and keep precise daily site activity records.
• Supervise field staff, drive punch lists, manage startup testing, closeout and handover.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a superintendent or assistant superintendent leading trade partners on site for a builder.
• Strong command of construction schedules, OSHA jobsite safety and quality control.
• Reliable commute to the project area or willingness to relocate, with a valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to clear owner security badge and background screening; high school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: active data‑center access badge, mission‑critical experience, 15+ years in commercial building with 5+ years supervising, OSHA 30, first aid and CPR certifications.
