Journeyman Electrician I–IV / Electrical Foreman

About the role

Join a full‑time, on‑site team serving commercial facilities and data centers in Ashburn, VA. Work regular shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with no travel required.

Key responsibilities

• Review drawings, sketches, circuit diagrams and specifications to plan installation of fixtures, motors, control panels, PLC‑linked equipment, transformers and switches.
• Install, service and repair electrical controls and distribution hardware, including motors, thermostats, relays, switches and circuit‑breaker panels.
• Measure, cut and bend wire and conduit, and use manual and powered tools, gauges and measurement instruments for installations and maintenance.
• Test and examine system components such as switchgear, transformers and transfer switches, diagnose faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Request materials, equipment and tools while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Required profile

• Minimum four years of experience in the electrical trade, preferably in commercial or data‑center environments.
• Demonstrated field leadership for foreman consideration and ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Licensure at journeyman or master electrician level is desirable but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Interpretation of technical specifications, sketches, project plans and wiring diagrams.
• Hands‑on installation, servicing and fault diagnosis of electrical systems, control equipment and distribution hardware.
• Use of manual and powered tools, gauges, measurement instruments, and conduit bending techniques.
• Testing of switchgear, transformers, transfer switches and related components.
