Superintendent – Bridge Construction

About the role

Stacy Witbeck is looking for a Superintendent with strong expertise in structures to lead a two‑phase bridge project over the Jordan River in Salt Lake City. You will schedule all work, coordinate field crews, and ensure the project stays on schedule and within budget while keeping traffic open.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee field personnel, daily/weekly schedules, and overall construction operations.
• Supervise and schedule formwork, rebar, concrete, structures, and other construction crews and subcontractors.
• Develop construction work plans and coordinate with other superintendents and subcontractors.
• Assist engineers with quantity take‑offs, production tracking, and field layout.
• Attend status meetings to discuss progress, public impact, and safety.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years experience building bridge structures, box culverts, and retaining walls.
• Experience erecting steel and concrete bridge girders and operating mechanical concrete screed equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally.

• Knowledge of UDOT specifications and standards.
