Transmission Line Engineering Consultant – Grid

About the role

This position leads the execution of multiple transmission and distribution projects for a major utility client. You will coordinate internal and external teams, manage the full project lifecycle, and ensure safety, schedule, budget, and client satisfaction are met.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and mentor multidisciplinary project teams to deliver transmission projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Oversee contract administration, planning, resource management, and KPI reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, track, and mitigate construction risks and change orders.
• Prepare clear, concise project reports and communicate with stakeholders and supervisors.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as the primary liaison for functional leads.

Required profile

• BS degree from an ABET‑accredited engineering program or a management/business degree.
• 10+ years of experience in the electric utility industry, including 7+ years managing utility transmission projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and serve as a client liaison.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Strong multitasking ability to manage competing priorities.
