Summer Development Analyst

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Summer Development Analyst to join its Seattle development team for a 10‑week internship. You will support the evaluation of new development opportunities, conduct market research, and assist in the execution of deals throughout the full development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Build and update detailed pro‑forma financial models for potential projects.
• Conduct market research, analyze trends, and assess site feasibility.
• Prepare development memorandums, financial packages, and presentation decks for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support due‑diligence activities, including review of budgets, schedules, and third‑party reports.
• Interact with brokers, consultants, equity partners, and internal development leaders.
• Maintain pipeline trackers, project timelines, and key deliverables.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure successful project launch.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in real estate, finance, business, or a related field.
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Strong quantitative and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
