SUD Specialist Service Case Manager

About the role

Clinica Romero is seeking a full‑time Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Specialist Service Case Manager to provide case management and group facilitation for court, DCFS, probation, and self‑referred clients. The role involves outreach, client recruitment, and ensuring program outcomes across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual case management and facilitate group sessions for clients with chemical dependency.
• Maintain timely documentation: progress notes, discharge summaries, intakes, and treatment plans.
• Recruit new youth and adult clients and promote services within the community.
• Coordinate with social workers, probation/parole officers, and referral sources.
• Transport clients as needed and ensure attendance at specialty service classes.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in substance use disorder case management or related field.
• Certification to facilitate Anger Management, Parenting, and work toward Domestic Violence certification.
• Registered with CADDE, CATC, or CADAC.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and up‑to‑date COVID‑19 vaccination proof.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel).
• Ability to write individual and group progress notes that meet county standards.
