About the role

Ensemble Schools seeks an experienced Substitute Instrumental Music Teacher to provide part‑time, as‑needed instruction across multiple Bay Area locations, covering beginner to advanced students on various instruments.

Key responsibilities

Deliver in‑person instrumental lessons on short notice when regular teachers are unavailable.
Maintain consistency for students and staff, with preference for candidates offering greater availability.

Required profile

Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrated love of teaching, experience with young musicians, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check.

Required skills

Ability to teach beginner to advanced students on various instruments.
Afternoon/evening availability; weekends are a plus.
