About the role

Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced, fun, and professional substitute guitar instructor to teach private lessons at Melody Academy of Music locations in Fremont, Cupertino, and Palo Alto. The role is part‑time and requires in‑person instruction.

Key responsibilities

Provide private guitar lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
Substitute for regular teachers as needed, with a preference for weekday afternoon/evening availability.

Required profile

Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.

Required skills

Proficiency in guitar instruction.
Ability to teach ukulele or bass guitar is preferred.

Pay ranging from $40‑$50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
