Student Services & Data Manager

About the role

The Student Services & Data Manager supports the College Assistant Dean, Co‑op leadership and faculty coordinators in daily operations of the co‑op program, handling data reporting, technology initiatives and administrative tasks. The role bridges students, employer partners and university staff to ensure a smooth hiring and learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Compile, analyze and report data on student hiring, events and program outcomes using systems such as Banner, Salesforce and Symplicity.
• Manage work‑study programs, delegate projects and maintain data integrity across co‑op databases.
• Support Blackboard course administration, develop surveys, update website and LinkedIn group content.
• Lead complex data projects, implement new software tools and create training manuals for staff and faculty.
• Coordinate co‑op events, employer interviews and conduct industry research to align opportunities with college goals.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant experience in an academic or business environment.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; interest in advanced studies in data science or analytics is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (complex formulas and logic).
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Salesforce, Banner, Symplicity, Navigate and Blackboard.
