Student Services Coordinator - Hybrid

About the role

The University of Miami’s Division of Enrollment Management is seeking a full‑time Student Services Coordinator to work on a hybrid schedule in Coral Gables, FL. The coordinator will deliver high‑quality customer service to prospective and admitted students, their families, and internal partners while overseeing key admissions and document‑management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Admission and My Documents inboxes, prioritizing and responding to email inquiries.
• Supervise, hire, train and coach a team of student assistants delivering front‑line customer service.
• Design and maintain efficient workflows that meet service‑level targets.
• Address escalated call and email issues to protect service quality.
• Oversee on‑site mail operations, Batch Acquire, Dynamic Forms, and document indexing.
• Support high‑school transcript review and act as primary contact for student and parent questions.
• Load, index, and secure undergraduate student records in the university’s information systems.
• Monitor and resolve mismatched records in Slate, manage test scores, and process change requests.
• Generate queries and analyze data to troubleshoot discrepancies.

Required profile

• Experience in customer‑service environments, preferably within higher‑education admissions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of student assistants.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with records‑management principles and university information systems.
