Strategy & Operations Senior Associate

About the role

Faire is a technology wholesale platform connecting independent retailers worldwide with products from around the world. This role defines and builds the go-to-market strategy behind Faire's advertising business, one of its fastest-growing revenue lines, and drives how brand-facing sales teams bring it to market. It is a high-visibility, individual contributor position in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, reporting regularly to go-to-market teams and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Break down complex, ambiguous strategic problems to uncover actionable insights
• Develop, refine and execute go-to-market strategies
• Lead large cross-functional initiatives with Product, Sales, Systems, Program Management, Marketing and others
• Identify opportunities, run in-depth analyses and recommend actions to leadership
• Own key business metrics, track trends and surface strategic insights
• Partner with teammates on how to use data thoughtfully and correctly
• Build scalable operational processes and fill operational gaps

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience in an analytical and strategic role (analytics, consulting, product, business operations or finance)
• Strategic problem solver who applies a first-principles approach
• Highly analytical and metrics-focused, able to define KPIs and report performance
• Strong communicator who shares data-driven insights clearly
• Product and business intuition, scrappy, resourceful and a fast learner

Required skills

• Advanced technical skills and strong proficiency in Excel and SQL

What we offer

• Pay range of $133,500 - $183,500 per year in San Francisco, plus equity and benefits
• Hybrid model: 3 days in the office per week, with remote work up to 4 weeks per year
