Strategy Associate

About the role

As a Strategy Associate at YouLend, you will lead high‑impact initiatives that span growth, operations and partnerships. Working at the crossroads of data, strategy and execution, you will identify opportunities, solve complex business problems and help shape how the company acquires, converts and funds small‑and‑medium enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve performance across the end‑to‑end merchant funnel, diagnosing bottlenecks and driving conversion, efficiency and customer experience improvements.
• Lead strategic projects in partner performance, pricing, market expansion, operational optimisation and new product launches.
• Design, execute and evaluate experiments and pilots, using data‑driven insights to boost growth and commercial outcomes.
• Build and monitor operational and commercial KPIs, dashboards, forecasts and business cases to inform organisation‑wide decisions.
• Represent YouLend in discussions with strategic partners, contributing to pricing talks, RFPs and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional execution with Product, Risk, Credit, Operations, Capital Markets and Partnerships teams.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities, tooling improvements and process scaling while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Act as a change leader, embedding new ways of working across teams with strong stakeholder buy‑in.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in consulting, fintech, technology, banking, strategy or operations roles.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects from idea through execution.
• Strong analytical mindset with a bias for action and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence partners and internal stakeholders.
