Strategic Sourcing Manager – Professional & Technology Services

About the role

The Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for professional and technology‑related services within a global consumer products organization. This senior position works closely with senior stakeholders across multiple functions to drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business growth plans.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and establish performance frameworks for continuous improvement.
• Partner with technology, operations, finance, legal, HR, engineering and other corporate functions.
• Deliver measurable cost savings, cost avoidance and value‑creation initiatives while balancing quality, service and risk.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier benchmarking and commercial assessments to support sourcing decisions.
• Support supplier consolidation, standardisation and preferred‑vendor programmes.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, governance and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing or category management.
• Proven experience managing professional services, consulting or technology services spend.
• Background in a CPG, FMCG, consumer products, food & beverage or manufacturing environment.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders across the organisation.
• Track record of leading complex sourcing projects and delivering financial results.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
