Engagement Manager – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking experienced financial services management professionals to generate strategies and deliver them for our clients. As an Engagement Manager at Kenway, you will lead projects, teams, and solutions that address today’s most pressing business and technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery for client engagements, managing scope, budget, timeline, risks and quality.
• Lead complex business and technology initiatives across banking, insurance, wealth management, payments and fintech.
• Drive project teams to high‑quality outcomes, coaching and empowering team members.
• Build trusted, long‑term relationships with client stakeholders and expand the client network.
• Contribute to proposals, SOWs, pitches and revenue forecasts to support account growth.

Required skills

• 8+ years leading complex business or technology initiatives.
• Financial services strategy consulting experience or equivalent industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees or certifications (MBA, CFA, CPA, CAMS) preferred.
• Deep knowledge of banking, insurance, wealth management, payments and fintech value chains.
• Understanding of financial services data domains and regulatory frameworks (Dodd‑Frank, Basel III/IV, AML, GDPR, etc.).
• Familiarity with core banking platforms (FIS, Fiserv, Temenos) and Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
• Experience with trading and portfolio systems (Bloomberg AIM, Charles River, Aladdin) and policy administration systems (Guidewire, Duck Creek).
