Strategic Planning Senior Consultant

About the role

CACI is hiring a Strategic Planning Senior Consultant in Virginia Beach, working on short-, medium- and long-term strategic documents built from the ground up. The consultant also helps colleagues lead teams of government subject matter experts so that goals and objectives match the command's priorities. The position requires a minimum Secret clearance and involves up to 25% local travel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert labor for assessments, studies, analysis and facilitation of CCD workflow process capture, documentation and streamlining recommendations, and for Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) capture and codification.
• Identify and assess critical inter- and intra-organization responsibilities and relationships.
• Facilitate workflow sessions to capture current and improved processes as directed by CCD leadership.
• Develop a CCD workflow process and SOP guidebook suitable for new-hire training.
• Help develop a 5-year strategic plan based on gaps found in the workflow process capture.
• Maintain consolidated records in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio and other formats to support reporting, data analysis and communication.
• Evaluate data analytically to provide defensible quantitative and qualitative results for recommended workflow changes.

Required profile

• Experience and comfort working closely with senior executives.
• Exceptional writing skills.
• U.S. Navy experience, especially with SPECOPS or small boat operations.
• Extensive MS Office experience covering all peripherals.
• Four-year college degree.
• Recent or current Secret security clearance.
• Experience in continuous process improvement.
