Director of Operations

About the role

Asure Software, a provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) software and services, is looking for a Director of Operations and Site Leader based on-site in its Virginia Beach, VA office. The role manages the day-to-day operations of the Operations and Service teams, including workflows and scheduling so that client service levels are met. It also covers employee relations, counselling and performance reviews, and prepares the team for new prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Customer Support, Payroll Processing and Implementation teams
• Interview, hire and train staff on company procedures, customer service and software systems, and coach and mentor them
• Give regular feedback on individual goals and communicate with client companies on customer service initiatives
• Monitor services for quality, compliance with applicable laws and accuracy of data
• Manage year-end projects and payroll services, and handle incoming calls, emails and voicemails
• Report on department metrics such as client issues, revenue, call statistics and compliance
• Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met across the Operations teams
• Identify cost management practices and implement operational improvements

Required profile

• 3 years of experience managing Payroll/HCM operations
• 5 years of people management experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience managing service delivery for external clients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available
