Store Manager - New York (October 2026 Opening)

About the role

Soeur, a Parisian ready-to-wear brand founded in 2008, is opening its first US store in New York in October 2026. As Store Manager you will be the brand's ambassador in New York, opening the store, building the team and delivering a warm, personal client experience. You will report to the Regional Manager and work closely with the Paris head office.

Key responsibilities

• Drive store revenue: analyse KPIs, build action plans and deliver sales targets
• Plan and run in-store events and clienteling initiatives to build a loyal client base
• Deliver an exceptional client experience and act as the ultimate product expert
• Recruit, onboard, train and coach the Assistant Manager and Sales Associates
• Create staff schedules, manage payroll hours and ensure compliance with NY labour law
• Set goals, give feedback and build a positive team culture
• Execute Paris visual merchandising guidelines and manage deliveries, inventory, transfers and shrinkage prevention
• Oversee cash handling and opening/closing procedures

Required profile

• 5+ years of retail experience, including 2+ years managing a store team (fashion, premium or luxury preferred)
• Track record of hitting sales targets and developing people
• Genuine passion for product, styling and client relationships
• Comfort working autonomously as the first employee in the US
• Authorization to work in the United States
• French is a plus, not required
