About the role

Sleep Number is seeking a Store Manager to lead a retail location, delivering personalized sleep solutions and driving sales growth. The role combines customer experience excellence with full‑cycle store leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a world‑class customer experience by guiding shoppers through the Sleep Number sales process.
• Communicate product features, promotions, and store procedures clearly and promptly.
• Follow up with customers and coach team members to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Oversee daily store operations, including recruiting, training, scheduling, and compliance with company policies.
• Utilize marketing programs and local tools to raise store awareness and increase foot traffic.
• Set and achieve sales targets, holding self and team accountable as “Sleep Experts.”

Required profile

• 3+ years of proven sales management or team‑leadership experience, preferably in a high‑end or specialty retail environment.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting, training, engaging and retaining top talent.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven leader who consistently exceeds goals.
• Comfortable leading by example in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Experience using iPad or similar devices for interactive sales presentations.
• Ability to conduct technology‑enabled product demonstrations.
