Store Manager

About the role

As a Store Manager at Ross, you will lead all aspects of store operations, ensuring that company standards and best practices are consistently met. You will create a welcoming shopping environment while driving sales and profit targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire store operation, overseeing the stockroom, front end, and sales floor.
• Recruit, train, and develop the leadership team, including Assistant Managers and Area Supervisors.
• Analyze store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and overall performance.
• Develop and execute action plans for any variance from company standards, partnering with the District Manager as needed.
• Manage associate scheduling, payroll administration, and daily punch edits.
• Implement retention tools such as incentive programs, recognition opportunities, and contests.
• Ensure timely receipt and placement of new merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain compliance with all required training courses.
