Store Manager - Automotive Tire and Service Center

About the role

Monro, a family of automotive service and tire dealer brands, is hiring a Store Manager. This is a salaried, full-time position reporting to the District Manager, providing daily leadership to General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists and the Assistant Store Manager. The manager develops sales and technical teammates, promotes products and services to guests and helps build a 5-star guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales and technical teammates and train them on shop operations and guest services
• Help achieve sales goals through sales plans, product knowledge and promotions
• Manage recruiting, hiring, scheduling, performance management and development of teammates
• Control expenses such as payroll, utilities, maintenance and supplies
• Manage inventory, including pulling tires and parts and stocking
• Audit courtesy inspections and schedule guest appointments
• Maintain the store to Monro standards for cleanliness and guest readiness
• Follow company policies, environmental and OSHA safety standards, and complete required Monro University training

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail or sales environment
• Proven ability to manage and deliver financial results while controlling costs
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle report
• Ability to work flexible hours, days, evenings, weekends and holidays, and to lift up to 50 lbs
