About the role
Meijer is seeking a Stocking Team Leader to oversee daily operations in various store departments, mentor staff, and ensure excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and supervise team members across store departments.
- Mentor and coach staff, driving sales and maintaining store appearance.
- Handle staffing, hiring, and succession planning.
- Manage P&L, achieve sales targets, and control shrink.
- Ensure a safe work environment and consistent attendance.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2‑3 years retail experience and at least 1 year management experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly, resolve conflicts, and analyze financial data.
- Experience with multiple store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) is helpful.
