Steward I – Hospitality Support at Luxury Resort

About the role

The Steward I joins the Fairmont Orchid team to ensure that all front‑of‑house and banquet equipment is clean, functional, and ready for service. Working in a vibrant resort environment, you will support both the dining and culinary teams by handling dishware, utensils, and other service items.

Key responsibilities

• Provide front‑of‑house staff with all required service equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and quality standards for all equipment supplied to front‑of‑house personnel.
• Support culinary staff by stocking and organizing dishware for each meal period.
• Assist banquet operations by preparing and delivering equipment and culinary supplies before and during events.
• Clean, maintain, and safely operate all stewarding department equipment.
• Transport banquet food items to event locations as needed.
• Report equipment issues or shortages to the Steward Supervisor.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Willingness to follow safety and quality procedures.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment and tools.
• Dishwashing and kitchen vessel cleaning.
