State Tested Nursing Assistant – Hospice Inpatient

About the role

Join the Cleveland Clinic Justin Rogers Hospice Care Center as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) providing compassionate care to patients and families in an inpatient hospice setting. You will work under RN supervision to deliver basic patient care and support the hospice team’s mission of comfort and quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities, including personal hygiene, ADLs, and transfers.
• Assist with physician‑ordered procedures under supervision of RN, PT, OT, or ST.
• Document and report abnormal assessments, changes in condition, and patient needs to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and orderly patient environment and ensure accurate documentation of care.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) certification registered with the Ohio Nurse’s Aide Registry.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with proof of $100,000/$300,000 automobile insurance.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) obtained during orientation.
