Staff Physician – Occupational Health – Modesto, CA

About the role

Concentra is seeking a Staff Physician to join its occupational health team in the Modesto/Ceres area. You will provide primary medical direction, coordinate care for center patients, and help drive growth of services within the clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Perform medical assessments of Center patients and establish appropriate levels of care.
• Maintain clinical core competency and follow Concentra’s medical protocols.
• Collaborate with the Center Medical Director to ensure operations align with occupational health policies.
• Participate in policy development, in‑service education, and continuing education programs.
• Provide budgetary input and assist with scheduling medical coverage for Concentra‑managed centers.
• Submit periodic activity reports and meet regularly with Concentra’s Medical Director to review quality and procedures.

Required profile

• Licensed physician willing to work under Concentra’s medical protocols and the Chief Medical Officer’s guidance.
• Experience in occupational health or related clinical settings.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM onsite.
