Staff Pharmacist – Online Pharmacy Operations

About the role

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support its fast‑growing online pharmacy platform. The role combines hands‑on dispensing, prescription fulfillment, and quality assurance to ensure customers receive safe, accurate medication deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense, verify, and pack medication orders for shipment, including pharmacist verifications.
• Manage customer profiles and prescription data in PharmacyOS.
• Process new prescriptions, coordinate transfers, and acquire prescriptions.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks on packet and bulk dispenses, collaborating with fellow pharmacists.
• Handle ancillary pharmacy tasks such as returns, medication rejects, substitutions, and canister approvals.
• Answer clinical questions, provide guidance, and investigate errors for proper resolution.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, federal and state pharmacy regulations.
• Collaborate with the distribution team to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and patient‑care regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to lift up to 20 lb.

Required skills

• PharmacyOS (prescription management system).
