Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – Remote (Arizona)

About the role

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Salma Health, you will deliver evidence‑based mental health care to adult and older adult patients through a blend of psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and cutting‑edge neuromodulation techniques such as TMS and Spravato. Working remotely within an Arizona‑licensed framework, you will conduct comprehensive 90‑minute diagnostic evaluations and apply measurement‑based care in a rapid‑access clinical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adult and older adult patients.
• Manage psychiatric disorders using psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and non‑pharmacologic approaches, including interventional modalities.
• Maintain an active intake schedule with follow‑up visits and utilize measurement‑based care tools.
• Identify candidates for interventional psychiatry (TMS, Spravato) and coordinate referrals.
• Document accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies and collaborate closely with the care coordination team.

Required profile

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with ANCC board certification as a PMHNP.
• Active, unencumbered NP license and furnishing number in Arizona, DEA registration, and current BLS certification.
• Experience thriving in a fast‑paced, high‑volume intake environment with dynamic scheduling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Measurement‑Based Care tools.
• Familiarity with interventional psychiatry modalities such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Esketamine (Spravato).
• Knowledge of accelerated neurostimulation techniques.
