Sr/Staff Product Manager, ML Research

About the role
Runway-ml is building AI that simulates the world by merging art and science. We are looking for a senior product manager to own the full product lifecycle of cutting‑edge ML research, from early‑stage pre‑training to market launch and pricing.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside the research team to define new AI applications that solve customer needs and drive business value.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design to productize research and continuously improve existing tools.
- Define and analyze metrics, engage with users weekly, and run A/B tests to validate pain points and prioritize features.
Required profile
- 1+ years of direct experience with SQL, Python, code generation tools, and version‑control best practices.
- 4+ years of product management experience, preferably with fast‑moving teams and building products from scratch.
- Familiarity with state‑of‑the‑art ML capabilities and a passion for taking research from conception to application.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
