Sr Staff Engineer – Data Analytics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sr Staff Engineer – Data Analytics to build and scale data products, models, and analytical foundations that power decision‑making and external reporting across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain production‑grade analytical data models using dbt and Databricks, including Gold‑layer models and dimensional schemas.
• Develop and evolve semantic models and reusable metrics for consumption through Tableau and other BI tools.
• Automate data preparation, validation, deployment, and monitoring with Python, SQL, and shell scripting.
• Establish standards, design patterns, and governance for analytics engineering and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with product, analytics, engineering, and business teams to identify high‑value data products and prioritize development.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or business intelligence.
• Strong expertise in SQL, dimensional modeling, and building enterprise‑wide semantic layers.
• Proven production experience with dbt and Databricks (Delta Lake, lakehouse patterns).
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into durable technical solutions.
