Sr. Software Engineer

About the role

Dematic is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of global technology solutions for logistics and warehouse automation. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable, high‑impact software.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance, multi‑tenant, cloud‑based warehouse optimization systems powered by big data and AI.
• Lead full‑stack development using modern web frameworks (Lit, Vue, React, Angular) and APIs (REST, GraphQL, WebSockets).
• Optimize database performance across SQL and NoSQL stores and implement real‑time analytics.
• Drive automation and DevOps practices with Terraform, GitLab, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands‑on software development experience, primarily full‑stack.
• Experience in agile environments and a passion for mentoring.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
