Sr. Project Manager - Operations

About the role

The Sr. Project Manager – Operations leads cost‑reduction initiatives across manufacturing, engineering and the product lifecycle in a regulated medical‑device environment. You will balance cost, quality and timeline while ensuring compliance, safety and supply continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional projects focused on cost optimization, value engineering, design‑to‑cost and process improvement.
• Identify, prioritize and deliver savings opportunities in manufacturing, supply chain, procurement and product design.
• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks and stakeholder communication.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Finance and Procurement to implement cost‑reduction strategies.
• Analyze cost drivers (BOM, labor, overhead, supplier pricing) and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Track and report savings metrics, forecasts, risks and decisions to leadership.
• Ensure all initiatives comply with Design Controls, QMS and relevant regulatory standards while supporting Lean, Six Sigma and continuous‑improvement practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or a related technical field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• 6–8 years of experience in medical‑device or highly regulated manufacturing.
• 2–5 years leading cross‑functional programs with measurable cost‑out results.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
