Sr. Operations Business Analyst - Safety Support

About the role

The Home Depot is looking for a Sr. Operations Business Analyst - Safety Support to support daily safety operations and projects and initiatives that improve safety performance across the business. The role requires strong analytical ability, combining quantitative and qualitative skills, and helps build a culture of safety while supporting field teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams of analysts and other associates, including data gathering, synthesis, solution development, project and strategy planning, and data use.
• Produce documents for teams and leadership, and deliver presentations to teams, executives and sponsors.
• Support day-to-day safety processes, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Review and understand operational and safety data, then communicate insights to teams and leaders.
• Develop personal and team knowledge, including self-development and customer (internal) knowledge.
• Assign and review work, train people and contribute to performance appraisals; no permanent reporting associates.

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Education: knowledge typically gained through a bachelor's degree or equivalent; a master's degree is preferred.
• Experience: 3 years preferred; no additional years required.
• Reports to a Store Operations Process Manager, Business Manager or Sr. Manager; typically involves less than 10% overnight travel.
