Senior Manager EDX Program Office

About the role

The Home Depot is looking for a Senior Manager for its EDX Program Office. The role manages store operations processes for specific areas of responsibility and leads projects focused on process improvements that support the needs of stores and the field. It works closely with the Operations Strategy Team and partners with the field and stores.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the root causes of problems and communicate the right course of action to the team and the resolution to the field.
• Develop and implement changes that improve store operations processes and add value to the stores' bottom line.
• Manage and drive core store operations projects and process improvements, including day-to-day processes and project work plans.
• Handle issues and roadblocks, respond proactively to unanticipated store needs, and manage action steps for strategic projects and process improvements.
• Build strong partnerships with the field and stores, and prepare and deliver high-level insights and recommendations based on industry, business, competitive and consumer data.
• Provide guidance and training, assist in turning data findings into recommendations, and maintain knowledge of specific operations and processes.
• Select, terminate, appraise and develop the support team of Business Analysts (typically 2-5 direct reports).

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job.
• 3 years of retail experience or process management in a related area preferred; 5 years preferred.
• Strong business, functional and store knowledge for the area of responsibility; leadership and management experience preferred.
• Strong quantitative skills such as statistics and data analysis.
• Ability to partner and communicate well with the field and stores, with a strong sense of urgency.

Required skills

• Operations, retail and/or field experience.
• Strategic thinking and ability to analyze situations and make decisions.
• Preferred: PMI certification.
