Sr. Operations Business Analyst - Rental

About the role

The Home Depot is looking for a Senior Operations Business Analyst for its rental business. The role leads small to medium subsets of larger projects and initiatives and individual processes, requiring strong analytical ability to break down problems and draw conclusions using quantitative skills. It sits within the Store Support Center and typically reports to a Store Operations Process Manager, Store Operations Business Manager or a senior manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams of analysts and other associates
• Gather data, synthesize findings, develop solutions, plan projects and strategies, and use data effectively
• Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and use
• Deliver presentations to teams, executives and sponsors
• Build skills and knowledge, including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge
• Assign and review work, train people and contribute to performance appraisals (no hiring, firing or disciplinary action)

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; a Master's degree is preferred
• 5 years of work experience preferred
• Preferred: experience leading high-performing teams, consulting management or project management, and strong operations, retail and/or field knowledge

Travel is typically under 10% overnight, and the work is mostly done sitting indoors in a comfortable setting.
