Sr. Embedded Software Engineer

About the role

Reliable Robotics is developing safety‑critical aviation technology. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will join the Embedded Systems team to create low‑level software and firmware that powers autonomous aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Develop C/C++ flight software, including requirements, design, code, unit tests, and requirements‑based test cases following DO‑178C procedures.
• Work on bare‑metal operating system, hardware initialization, networking, protocol drivers, and memory interfaces.
• Create Python‑based integration test cases and maintain CI infrastructure for automated builds, testing, and deployment.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional experience developing C or C++ for embedded, high‑performance, or safety‑critical applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• C and C++ programming.
• Python scripting.
• Experience with DO‑178C software development environment.
• Knowledge of bare‑metal OS, hardware initialization, networking, and protocol drivers.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and automated testing pipelines.
