About the role
BAYADA Hospice is seeking a Spiritual Counselor to provide home‑based spiritual and emotional support to patients and families throughout Tucson, Arizona. The role is part of an experienced hospice care team delivering compassionate end‑of‑life care.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and follow each client’s spiritual care plan.
- Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and family members.
- Accurately and timely complete all required documentation.
- Participate in bereavement services for families, referral sources, and the community.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Counseling or a divinity school degree preferred.
- At least one year of experience in spiritual counseling within a health‑care setting, preferably hospice or palliative care.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to travel within the coverage area.
