Preceptor RN – Home Health Clinical Field Educator

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to serve as a Clinical Field Educator. You will precept and mentor newly hired RNs and LPNs while maintaining a small personal caseload of home health patients.

Key responsibilities

• Precept and mentor new RNs/LPNs during home visits, providing one‑on‑one clinical training and ongoing feedback.
• Coordinate onboarding calendars, ensure attendance at required education classes, and manage orientation progression.
• Deliver direct patient care for at least 50% of your time, including case management, medication administration, wound care, and documentation using a tablet‑based system.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Education team to monitor clinician retention and maintain consistent training standards.

Required profile

• Active RN license in Arizona.
• Prior Medicare‑certified home health experience (required; HCHB preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for education, coaching, and mentorship.

Required skills

• Medicare‑certified home health clinical experience.
• Case management and RN duties such as medication administration and wound care.
• Use of tablet‑based point‑of‑care documentation systems.
