Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Based

About the role

The SPEAK Center for Language and Learning seeks a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join its school‑based team in Surprise, AZ. You will evaluate and treat students with IEPs, implement therapy plans, and support their communication development.

Key responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and monitor student progress, documenting responses to therapy activities.
• Collaborate with SLPAs to adjust strategies and supervise their sessions.
• Maintain student records and progress notes in compliance with AZ Department of Education.
• Communicate regularly with parents, school staff, and support personnel about student progress.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology and state certification.
• ASHA certification and experience working with pediatric populations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with children and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary therapy team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of speech therapy techniques, materials, and tools.
• Proficiency in documentation and record‑keeping for educational compliance.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
