Speech Language Pathologist Assistant – Home Health (AZ)

About the role

The SPEAK Center is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide home‑health therapy for children with developmental disabilities, primarily autism spectrum disorder. You will work under the supervision of licensed SLPs, delivering individualized therapy in the child’s home.

Key responsibilities

• Implement individualized therapy plans created by supervising SLPs.
• Conduct therapy sessions in children’s home environments.
• Collaborate with families to support carry‑over of therapy goals.
• Document progress and communicate regularly with supervising SLPs and team members.
• Participate in team meetings and required training sessions.

Required profile

• Degree in a Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
• Current AZ SLPA licensure or eligibility for licensure.
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities, especially ASD, preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid/Article 9 training, and professional liability insurance.
