Medical Receptionist & Clinical Administrative Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist & Clinical Administrative Coordinator to support a growing U.S.-based gastroenterology practice. The role is fully remote and focuses on patient communications, scheduling, prescription coordination, and diagnostic service management.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound patient calls, inquiries and provide professional support via phone, email and text.
• Schedule, reschedule and coordinate appointments, procedures and follow‑up visits using eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Process prescription requests, refills and communicate with pharmacies through Squad Health.
• Initiate and follow up on medication prior authorizations and verify insurance eligibility.
• Coordinate laboratory, radiology and imaging appointments and route results to providers.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience supporting a U.S. medical practice.
• Proficient in eClinicalWorks (eCW) for scheduling, EMR and prescription tasks.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying in constant contact with the clinic team.
